Kyriakos is the VAT partner of our firm. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).

He has a B.A. in Business Administration from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MSc in International Economics, Banking and Finance from Cardiff University.

Kyriakos has extensive experience in VAT advisory and compliance matters focusing on a variety of indirect tax issues ranging from compliance to advisory and structuring services for clients across various industries, both local and international.

Extension of the scope of VAT exemption for dance schools

On 8 May 2026, the Council of Ministers approved ΚΔΠ221/2026 amending Schedule 7 of the VAT Law which includes the VAT exemption applicable to ballet schools. Paragraph 9(d) of Table A is amended by the replacement of the term “ballet” with the word “dance”.
