Exemption from VAT for educational services for vehicle technicians

On 26/4/2021 an amendment to the Cyprus VAT Law was published in the official Gazette which exempts from VAT educational services for vehicle technicians.
The amendment exempts form VAT educational institutions which in accordance with the provisions of the Law governing vehicle technicians, are authorized to deliver training programs, to organize relevant examinations and to issue a certificate for the basic training of vehicle technicians.
