Grant Thornton Cyprus successfully delivers its first online Training and Internship Program in Collaboration with Prolestia Co. Ltd.
Grant Thronton Cyprus is pleased to announce the successful delivery of the first Online Training and Internship Program “Transformation in a Digital and Intelligent Era”, in collaboration with Prolestia Co. Ltd., designed for future business professionals of high academic calibre, aiming to enhance their knowledge, skills and abilities so that they can be well prepared for the business world.
Through the participation of 43 talented international students, the Business Consulting department of Grant Thornton Cyprus successfully delivered this four-week Training and Internship Program, comprised of 36 hours of interactive online sessions. The program consisted of five complementary components including an overview of Grant Thornton Cyprus’ service lines, Grant Thornton’s digital transformation services through case studies, skills of the modern workplace, performing a holistic transformation project and a case study of a real-world transformation project.
More specifically, the participants had the opportunity to interact with the firm's high-level managers, directors, and partners in order to understand a professional firm’s role in the market in an international level. During the four-week program, the participants had the opportunity to understand and put into practice the technical skills that are required in the modern workplace, while engaging into immersive project simulations and group discussions, based on thorough analysis of case studies from successful transformation projects in relation to Grant Thornton’s clients on a local and global scale. Additionally, the program integrated a number of complex case study exercises, group discussions supported by lectures, and a simulated Business Consulting client engagement, designed to give participants practical experience addressing real-world challenges and situations supported by coaching and frequent opportunities to strengthen their core consulting skills.
Towards the end of the program, the participants engaged in a Team Competition where they had to work collaboratively and develop a comprehensive methodological approach for the implementation of a Digital Transformation project based on a Business Consulting client of Grant Thornton, which was presented to the CEO of Grant Thornton Cyprus, Stavros Ioannou and the leader of the Business Consulting Department, Sakis Moyseos, who evaluated the presentations and awarded the best three performing teams and the MVP participant.
Looking ahead, Grant Thornton Cyprus is committed to continuing the collaboration with Prolestia Co. Ltd. to offer more learning and development opportunities for aspiring professionals through innovative training and internship programs.
