Grant Thornton Cyprus adopts a four-day work week for August

Grant Thornton Cyprus is introducing the four-day work week for the month of August, giving the Fridays of August as days of leave to its people.
The additional time off is part of the Firm’s mission to ensure its peoples’ overall well-being — a mission that Grant Thornton Cyprus believes will ultimately cultivate better-supported and happier professionals who can continue meeting clients’ ever-evolving needs.
"We are very excited to announce our new initiative with which, all Fridays in August are considered a day of leave by the Firm, thus creating four long weekends. We want to create a unique experience both professionally and personally for our people and the introduction of the four-day work week is just one of the initiatives that we have implemented in recent years. This move will contribute to a better work-life balance and it will give our colleagues more time for what matters most to them and the people they care for" said the CEO of Grant Thornton Cyprus, Mr. Stavros Ioannou.
