- Grant Thornton sponsors Cyprus Blockchain Summit
Grant Thornton Cyprus, a professional services firm, sponsored the first Blockchain Summit organised by IMH, which was held on 10 July, at the Hilton Park Hotel, Nicosia.
The summit was attended by top professionals from various industries who had the opportunity to be informed about the latest trends and developments of blockchain technology. More than 200 participants were informed about the benefits of experimenting and using the distributed ledger technologies.
Grant Thornton Cyprus was represented by Giorgos Agathangelou, Business Development Manager, Distributed Ledger Technologies, who presented a case study, a tokenisation platform developed by Grant Thornton Spain. In addition, Mr. Agathangelou, participated in panel discussions regarding the application of blockchain technology to businesses.
